On July 4th, we now have the opportunity to play inside the Pauls Valley Stadium by the stage just before the fireworks show starts (instead of the band shell outside the stadium). We would like to get feedback and comments on this.

I feel we should perform in the band shell. I've been told that there will be other bands performing prior to the fireworks. There will be other activities going on most of the day, so we should be able to get a pretty good audience at the band shell.
Also, I think it would be easier to clear out our equipment if we performed earlier in the day rather than fighting the crowd and traffic after the fireworks.
